The EWDD Rapid Response Team is trained to support your employees and your business through any transition process. They bring experts to your location to walk your outgoing employees through the Unemployment Insurance Benefits process, and various other resources to support them in transitioning to a job as quickly as possible. Services are free of cost to you and your employees and are mandated by the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) legislation.

Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN)

Since the passage of the WARN requirement law in 1988, all U.S. employers confronting a mass layoff, relocation or termination at a covered establishment must give employees a minimum of 60 day notice prior to event. California specific WARN provisions became law in 2003.
